Terms and Conditions

Agreement

By creating an account or using FaveFolio (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Copyright & Content Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What FaveFolio is

FaveFolio is a personal taste-identity and profile tool. You curate a limited set of favorites across categories and may share a public profile that represents your taste. FaveFolio is not a media library, marketplace, or cloud storage vault for every item you have ever liked.

Your content

You are responsible for everything you add to FaveFolio, including favorites, notes, reflections, uploaded images, People entries, and other text or media (“User Content”).

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have the rights needed to post User Content, or that posting it does not infringe others’ copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other rights;
  • User Content is accurate enough for identity purposes and is not unlawful, hateful, or deceptive;
  • you will not upload pirated media, full copyrighted works you do not own, or materials intended to bypass licensing or paywalls.

You grant FaveFolio a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, showing your public profile to visitors you choose to share it with).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to infringe copyright, trademark, or other IP rights;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or republish third-party images or metadata obtained through FaveFolio;
  • impersonate others, harass people, or share another person’s private information without permission;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service or its APIs beyond normal personal use.

Accounts and profiles

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. Public profiles are visible to anyone with the link; categories you mark private and your People list are intended to stay private to you. You are responsible for what you choose to make public.

Service changes

We may change features, category limits, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may also suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these Terms or applicable law, or in response to valid rights-holder complaints.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect search results, or that third-party data sources will remain available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaveFolio and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service or from third-party content displayed in it.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on FaveFolio infringes your copyright, contact us with a description of the work, the location of the material on FaveFolio (URL), your contact details, and a statement that you are authorized to act for the rights holder. We may remove or disable access to the material while we review the notice.

Use the contact method published on the Service, or email the address associated with the FaveFolio operator account when available.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
